About the Audiologist

Robyn Shapiro, Au.D., CCC/A, background includes; specialized training and research in a wide variety of audiological services for pediatric, adult, geriatric and "difficult to test" populations.  Dr. Shapiro, Au.D., belongs to several professional organizations including; American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA), and the American Academy of Audiology (AAA) and holds professional certifications and licenses including; ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology, New York State-Audiology License and the New York State-Hearing Aid Dispensing License.

Dr. Shapiro recently opened a privately operated audiology practice located in Hauppauge, Long Island, N.Y. Audiological Services include; comprehensive audiological evaluations serving all ages; pediatric early identification of hearing loss; hearing aid evaluation; assistive listening devices, auditory processing evaluations, swim-molds; hearing conservation; tinnitus evaluations; and contractual services.

Dr. Robyn Shapiro Au.D., goal is to offer the best quality services and products so that others can enjoy all the wonderful sounds life has to offer.  "I do not want anyone missing out on precious opportunities….chances to share conversations with loved ones, to laugh at stories or to hear whispered secrets from cherished grandchildren".
