Dr. Shapiro is an early intervention and CPSE provider-contracting through Kidz Therapy Services.
Early Intervention: If a child is found eligible, the audiological services are provided at no cost to the families. The Early intervention is funded and regulated by the New York State Department of Health in Nassau and Suffolk counties. Eligibility of services for children from birth to three years of age is determined by the NY state Early Intervention Program and can be determined only by state approved evaluators under contract with a municipality.
Committe on Preschool Special Education: Parents, or legal guardians, must request an evaluation from the Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE) office at their local school district. Upon approval from your school district, services will be provided at no cost to the family.
